*bad week*

thats it... i have written this week off!
monday was nice. allen and i went to
the superbike races at miller
motorsports track. tuesday was good,
we took the kids to the zoo. and then
wednesday happened... it started at 9Am,
obviously sooner than that, but thats
when it started for me. i got out of bed
and was taking care of the newspaper
when i herd water running, thinking it
was the washing machine, i thought
'thats weird, allen left for work two
hours ago" so as i walked down the
kitchen area a little, when i knew it was our
basement, flooding... again! i ran and
grabbed my phone to call allen, and
started yelling, 'you need to come home
the basement is flooded again' and now
i feel bad, because he was already having
a bad day at work, as his axel broke on his work
trailer, and he had to pull over to take it
off and to a welder to have it fixed. i hate
to make life more stressful for him, as
owning a business is stressful in itself.
anyways..
i was frustrated! i was calling people
for help, crying, panicing, running around
trying to save all my stuff that was wet
already. i was sad. turns out, a sprinkler
line broke, filled up our window well,
broke the window out and started filling
up. the carpet guy sucked out 250+ gallons
of water. it was a mess! so, thursday and
friday, i have spent waiting for people to
come to get this taken care of-
.insurance adjuster
.window people
.carpet guy
.backflow tester (thats what broke)
im so exaused this week,
that i have decided to
write it off!
this is what our basement
looks like today...
for who knows how
long. i cannot park my
car in the garage anymore,
we filled that up too.
and our new window wont
be here till next thursday.
