yes this is our breakfast. i am not a breakfast person so my poor children get cold cereal everyday, unless allen is home to make them something good and warm. but today i decided to put a little more effort into breakfast, so i thought id document it :)
today was rather normal; i cleaned house, allen worked on his curb trailer, kids played.
later on we headed to grandma and grandpas house for a bbq and fireworks. getting together is always fun, usually something exciting happens -and this night was no different. the new legal aerial fireworks made this year a lot more exciting. we had a large box malfunction. it was very scary/funny; possibly one of those 'you had to be there' moments. we had a few kids get hit by the 'pops' (sorry, dont really know what to call them), the blanket they were using to keep warm caught on fire. it was madness. but everyone is ok, we laughed about it after, we laughed a lot actually. so grateful every one was ok. on the way home we decided to stop the the TNT where we purchased this firework...they wanted to keep it, to turn it in, they took our number, said someone will call us and want more details.. and then they gave us two new ones for the 'inconvenience'.
but at the end of the day,
I am Proud to be an American
and am extremely grateful to our
American Soldiers
who have fought and are still fighting for our
Freedom.
